This app recreates the flow of Rory Monaghan's original App-V Decision Matrix. The information and recommendations the app delivers should be part of wider research into how you manage and deliver your applications. Don't make a business critical decision based on the app alone. If you do and you end up making an incorrect and expensive decision, you agree it's on your head, not ours. For more in-depth advice you are welcome to speak to Algiz Technology who can provide application packaging and delivery consultancy.
This is a free service, and there is no formal support, but we will try to help with requests if we can. We'll be updating the app with new features and functionality as and when we can.
Algiz Technology will make reasonable efforts to make the app available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. However, there will be occasions when the service is interrupted for maintenance, upgrades and repairs, or as a result of the failure of telecommunications links and equipment that are beyond our control. Algiz Technology will take reasonable steps to minimise these disruptions, as far as they are within our control.
While we'll keep backups of the database, we won't be keeping daily backups. We recommend you take exports of your data using the built-in 'export to CSV' feature.
Algiz Technology may modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the app with or without notice. We won't be liable to you or anyone else if we do.
We will use the data added to the app in two ways. Rory may look at the kind of apps users are testing and write blog articles about better ways to deliver them, and Algiz Technology may look at the list to see if there are more features we can build into the app to make it more useful to you. Whenever we reference the app and tests conducted in it in an article/resource, we won't mention who's testing what applications. It will be anonymous.
Unless you ask us to (if for example you use any of our consultancy services and want us to refer to your app tests), we won't share your data with any third parties, except the designer and developers Riabro and Rimakish as they may need the data to improve the app for you.
You can remove your account and related data within the app.
When we launch new significant features, we'll let you know via email and possibly a notice within the dashboard. You can unsubscribe to these announcements at the bottom of each email.
We also maintain a list of those who have opted-in to receive blog posts and other helpful information. At the bottom of every communication is a link to unsubscribe to these if you'd no longer like to receive them.
